Pawel Markowicz etabliert sich auf heimischen wie internationalen Konzertbühnen dank seiner außergewöhnlichen Vielseitigkeit, die bereits zur Zusammenarbeit mit Musikern wie Andreas Ottensamer, Igudesman & Joo, Helene Fischer, dem Ensemble Kontrapunkte und Thomas Hampson führte. 2025 übernimmt er erneut die Einstudierung der Konzertvereinigung Wiener Staatsopernchor bei den Salzburger Festspielen, wo er seit 2018 bei über 30 Opern- und Konzertproduktionen als Assistent des Chorleiters und Chor-Korrepetitor mitwirkte.
2020 erschien mit Symphony for Solo Piano die Aufnahme seines autorisierten Klavierarrangements der 8. Symphonie von Philip Glass als Weltersteinspielung beim Label des Komponisten, Orange Mountain Music. Das Debüt-Album erreichte in den iTunes Klassik Charts Platz 2 in Österreich und Platz 5 in den USA.
Pawel Markowicz has established himself on concert stages both in Austria and abroad thanks to his extraordinary versatility, which has led him to collaborate with musicians such as Andreas Ottensamer, Igudesman & Joo, Helene Fischer, Ensemble Kontrapunkte and Thomas Hampson. In 2025 he returns to lead the preparation of the Concert Association of the Vienna State Opera Chorus for the Salzburg Festival, where he has contributed to over 30 opera and concert productions as Assistant to the Chorus Master and Répétiteur since 2018.
Symphony for Solo Piano, his debut album as pianist-arranger and the world-premiere recording of his arrangement of Symphony No. 8 by Philip Glass, was released on the composer’s label Orange Mountain Music in 2020, becoming number 2 in Austria and number 5 in the USA on the iTunes Classic Charts.
